US Attorney Pirro says $800M frozen for victims as DC scam strike force expands
Federal prosecutors in Washington, D.C., are seeking to seize more than $25 million in cryptocurrency tied to international romance and investment scams.
The crackdown is part of a broader effort in which U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro has already frozen more than $800 million for victims, she told The National News Desk in a one-on-one interview.
