Disastrous debate: Biden's cognitive decline, lawsuit & comments from the former First Lady
It's been nearly two years since the event now commonly referred to as Joe Biden's "disastrous debate."
While his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, initially told her husband in public, "You did such a great job," we now know her thoughts in private were far different.
In an interview with CBS's "Sunday Morning," the former first lady said, "I wasn’t horrified. I was frightened because I had never ever seen Joe like that."
When asked, "What happened?" Biden replied:
"I don’t know what happened. As I watched it unfold, I thought Oh my God, he’s having a stroke."
